Job Description
Treasury Management provides innovative treasury management solutions to the Bank’s Commercial Banking, Trade Finance, Business Banking, Public Funds and Branch clients. Treasury Management Sales Officers are responsible for marketing treasury management services to these clients, most often in tandem with the Relationship Managers (RMs) and Associate Relationship Managers (ARMs).

Utilize consultative sales methods to market First American Bank’s treasury management solutions to clients. 

Promote treasury management solutions by serving as the Treasury Management relationship specialist.
Demonstrate proficiency in knowledge of all strategic treasury management solutions and their benefits to our clients.

Review existing client portfolios for additional treasury management sales opportunities.

Build an opportunity pipeline and manage client follow up using the CRM tool.

Educate and advise Relationship Managers of new treasury management product development initiatives. 
Maintain effective cross selling and referral activities. 
Assist in the development of Treasury Management Associates.

Actively participate in the product management / development of treasury management solutions by providing input (client/prospect feedback, competitive information, market trends, etc.) to Product Management personnel.

College degree in finance, marketing, economics or a related discipline. MBA or advanced degree is desirable. 

Treasury Management sales experience preferred.

Demonstrated knowledge of a wide array of treasury management products and proficiency in marketing such services.

Basic knowledge of commercial banking products and related regulations.

CTP accreditation and experience working with municipalities a plus.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent computer skills (i.e. Word, PowerPoint and Excel spreadsheet applications).

This position requires regular travel by car to various locations throughout the Bank's Chicago market. Occasional out-of-state travel may be required.

Typical hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30am - 5:00pm.
