Job Description
This hourly (non- exempt) position is responsible for the operational support of all treasury management products, as well as assisting with the management of risk and customer service within the branch network.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

First point of contact for walk-in customers. Answer and direct phone calls, process all supply orders, place service calls, and general office maintenance. 

Open and maintain business and personal accounts for commercial customer base.

Coordinate document flow for treasury management service set-ups and changes, including the setup of Treasury Management products on core system; positive pay, sweeps, ACH filters.

Work with our Business Center to quickly resolve Treasury Management customer service issues while focusing on quality and customer service.

Participate in the assignment of business accounts via the business verification process.

Track and report outstanding business documentation and accounts.

Monitor commercial loan overdrafts and ACH Risk holds and file transfers on a daily basis.

Respond to and resolve telephone and written inquiries from account officers, treasury management sales, retail banking department, and other departments.

Complete miscellaneous data entry and projects assigned to both the Treasury Management Department, as well as the Retail Risk and Service Department. Participate on project teams as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Associate's degree preferred. 

One  year of banking experience required. Experience in Bank operations  or Treasury Management preferred.

Must have excellent organizational skills, be detail oriented, and demonstrate solid financial aptitude.  

Strong teamwork and customer service aptitude required.
 
Strong verbal and written communication skills required  to effectively communicate with internal and external contacts.     
   
Strong problem solving and analytical skills.

Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Outlook).  Strong working knowledge of software systems used in a branch preferred.

Travel to First American Bank University and /or any First American Bank branches for meetings as required.

Typical hours 8:00 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Additional hours may be required based on department needs.
